Vendor Compliance and Governance Analyst

SUMMARY

The Vendor Compliance and Governance Analyst is responsible for facilitating all new and renewal vendor requests. This role involves working with all corporate team members involved in reviewing vendor applications and providing guidance to leaders and those responsible for vendor contracts. All duties are performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

This is a remote role with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to support PST, CST, and EST hours as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review all vendor submissions for completeness and gather necessary information.
2. Address vendor submission concerns across departments, follow up for additional information, and schedule meetings as needed.
3. Determine requirements and administer vendor process software, including adding questions and resolving process issues.
4. Identify critical delays and recommend solutions to resolve issues effectively.
5. Identify opportunities to improve processes and policies.
6. Expedite vendor agreements that meet established criteria.
7. Collaborate with vendor coordinators and other stakeholders on process improvements.
8. Design documentation to support system processes and provide training as needed.
9. Assist in resolving conflicts within the business and corporate teams.
10. Audit process requirements and execution.
11. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Five or more years of related work and project management experience.
• Two or more years of Vendor Management experience.
• Interest in law or compliance.
• Familiarity with Alliant Business Units or willingness to learn.
