Vendor Compliance and Governance Analyst

SUMMARY

The Vendor Compliance and Governance Analyst is responsible for facilitating all new and renewal vendor requests. This role collaborates with all relevant corporate team members involved in reviewing vendor applications and provides guidance to leaders responsible for vendor contracts. All duties are performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

This is a remote role with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to support PST, CST, and EST hours as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review vendor submissions for completeness and gather necessary information.
• Address vendor submission concerns across departments, follow up for additional details, and coordinate meetings with vendor coordinators.
• Determine requirements and administer vendor process software, including adding questions and resolving issues.
• Identify delays in processes and recommend solutions.
• Suggest improvements to processes and policies.
• Expedite vendor agreements that meet specified criteria.
• Collaborate with vendor coordinators and other stakeholders on process improvements.
• Design documentation to support system processes and provide training as needed.
• Assist in resolving conflicts within business and corporate teams.
• Audit process compliance and execution.
• Perform all duties in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced degree preferred
• At least 5 years of related experience, including project management
• Minimum 2 years of vendor management experience
• Interest in law or compliance
• Familiarity with Alliant Business Units or willingness to learn
