Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in Memphis, TN seeks a Vending Supervisor to oversee multiple exchanges' vending operations, focusing on maximizing machine utilization and profitable performance.

The role requires coordinating routes, maintenance, inventory control, and promotional initiatives while ensuring compliance with policy and safet y standards. Travel within the district is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in merchandising, procurement or related work.
• Ability to deal with others in person-to-person relationships and exercise mature judgment.
• Specialized experience in vending operations, equipment maintenance, inventory, customer service, sanitation, security or similar.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all facets of Exchange vending operations.
• Manage net contribution goals through product, cash handling, personnel, equipment, security, expenses and records.
• Establish and manage inventory, routes, replenishment systems and preventive maintenance for vending machines and vehicles.
• Analyze vending reports to meet sales and profit goals and coordinate merchandising strategies with area Exchanges.
• Work under supervision of a manager, operating independently within policies and procedures.
• Prepare equipment requests and maintain fixed asset records for vending assets.
• Ensure cost control, loss prevention and high integrity in operations.
