Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in Guam seeks a Supervisor for vending and micro market operations. You will oversee staff, ensure machines and areas are clean, and handle regular inventories, reports and operational tasks to maintain smooth service across locations.

The role requires strong supervision, coordination with base commands, and adherence to safety and sanitation rules. Full-time schedule in Guam with on-site work and local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• General Experience: Two years in merchandising, technical or related work enabling knowledge of merchandising and procurement practices.
• Specialized Experience: Experience in vending operations, maintenance, inventory, safety and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates in inspection and replenishment of vending and micro market merchandise, including transfers, relocations and installations.
• Oversee collection of monies from machines and micro markets and ensure cleanliness and proper stock, safeguarding supplies and cash.
• Train subordinates in procedures, safety, and housekeeping; enforce standards and schedule staffing to cover all areas.
• Prepare reports with statistical and financial data; conduct periodic inventories and communicate needs to management.
