Job summary

Navy Exchange in Guam seeks a Vending/Micro Market Supervisor to oversee vending and micro market operations and staff at multiple locations. The role ensures machines are functional, clean, stocked, and cash-handling is compliant, with supervision of subordinate staff.

You will perform administrative duties, prepare reports, and manage schedules while coordinating with base commands and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Two years general experience in merchandising, technical or other responsible work enabling knowledge of merchandising and procurement.
• Specialized experience in merchandising operations, vending maintenance, inventory, security or safety measures and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates in inspecting and replenishing vending/micro market merchandise and transfers inventory.
• Trains subordinates in procedures and safety, ensures housekeeping rules are followed.
• Determines need for equipment and supplies and maintains stock levels.
• Prepares reports with statistical/financial data and responds to inquiries.
• Conducts periodic inventories and notifies management of discrepancies.
• Schedules staff to ensure adequate coverage for vending areas including Micro Markets.
