Benchmark Insurance Group, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Commercial Insurance Salesperson to grow client relationships and close new business. You will understand client needs and present tailored property, liability, workers' compensation and business interruption coverages.

With over 40 years in Central Texas, we reward performance with commission and support from a fantastic team. The ideal candidate holds a state license and has a proven sales record in commercial insurance.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in commercial insurance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting guidelines and regulations.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Hold a state license and have at least five years in commercial insurance.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Experience with agency management systems such as AMS 360.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs.
• Present and explain commercial policies including property, liability, workers compensation and business interruption coverage.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, participate in meetings as needed.
• Provide customized insurance solutions that meet client needs.
• Maintain accurate client records in our management system.

The Commercial Insurance Salesperson (or Account Executive) is responsible for growing and maximizing profitable relationships with clients through new client sales.

• Provide customized insurance solutions that meet client’s needs.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in our management system.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in commercial insurance.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting guidelines and industry regulations.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Hold a state insurance license and have a minimum of five years of commercial insurance experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.
• Have experience working as a team with other insurance professionals.
• Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and have technology and computer proficiency including agency management systems.
• Experience with AMS 360 from Vertafore or similar Insurance Agency Management Systems.
