Job summary

Cumulus Media - Indianapolis is seeking a Vehicle Transporter/Driver to deliver and return vehicles between Cumulus locations and remote broadcasts. You will move our truck/trailer up to 33 feet long with a gross vehicle weight of 20,700 pounds.

This on-call, part-time role offers supplemental income with flexible hours (0–25 per week). The job requires alertness, safety focus, and the ability to follow instructions, with driving responsibilities and routine vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Two years of driving experience required.
• A clean DMV record is required.
• Indiana for Hire Endorsement license is required or obtainable.
• CDL drivers preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Position Overview

Cumulus Media - Indianapolis seeks a highly motivated and qualified applicant to fill the unique position of Vehicle Transporter/Driver. This position is responsible for vehicle delivery and returning vehicles to Cumulus Media locations and remote broadcast locations. Primarily, this position moves our large truck/trailer that is up to 33’ in length and a gross vehicle weight of 20,700lbs.

This is an on-call/part-time truck driving position that is perfect for licensed drivers seeking supplemental income and looking to work anywhere from 0 to 25 hours a week based on business needs.

This position requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving to destinations of remote broadcast locations or Cumulus Media locations.
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to manager if any issues are found.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required.
• A clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
• An Indiana for Hire Endorsement license required or obtained. CDL drivers preferred but not required.
• The ability to read and follow written instructions is required.
• The ability to work independently with organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule and work at the specific locations required

• The employee must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs.
• The employee must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear trailer/cargo area.

Pay Range

USD $15.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.
