Job summary

Franklin County Clerk of Courts seeks a Title Management Specialist to assist customers with the issuance of legal documents and vehicle titles. You will review documents, process transactions, and ensure accuracy in title records and notary requirements.

You will handle in-person and phone inquiries, verify documentation, and support notary processes while adhering to applicable laws and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with six months of clerical experience, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of office practices, policies and government processes.
• Ability to review documents for authenticity and complete titling transactions.
• Experience with data entry and basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-person or by phone regarding title documents, court filings and notary requirements.
• Review submitted documents to determine sufficiency for issuing titles.
• Process transactions and verify authenticity of documentation.
• Answer questions about title procedures, forms, and case information; direct callers to the proper department.
• Review and approve electronic titling transactions and cite applicable laws and regulations.
