Job summary

Actalent in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Vehicle Test Technician to support engineering by performing routine vehicle maintenance, setting up and executing dynamometer tests, and compiling test documentation.

The role requires hands-on work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team under direct supervision. This contract position offers onsite work in Ann Arbor and a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and setup experience for testing.
• Experience with dynamometer testing beneficial but not required.
• Light fabrication skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles with basic maintenance for testing.
• Set up and conduct dynamometer driving tests.
• Assemble and submit test documentation.
• Follow standard test modes and procedures.
• Use mechanical and fabrication tools appropriately.
• Support minor fabrication and part assemblies.
• Learn and apply proper testing procedures.
• Work under direct supervision and manage daily tasks.
