Job summary

UTAC is seeking a Test Technician to support our testing team, working with internal and external customers. You will set up dynamometer test cells, assemble propulsion systems and test parts, and keep facilities clean and organized.

The role requires strong problem solving, effective communication across levels, and the ability to multi-task. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required. On-site work and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in automotive or propulsion industry preferred.
• Fluency in English required.
• Demonstrated record of driving results.
• Strong problem solving, strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Able to relay technical information clearly to audience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers/customers when needed.
• Setting up test cells.
• Assemble automotive/propulsion systems.
• Cleaning/organizing test cells and facilities.
• Building oil conditioning carts.
• Fabricating and/or machining fixturing.
• Keep workspace clean and organized.
• Maintain shop inventory and assist in troubleshooting.
• Support UTAC culture and values.
