Job description

Vehicle Test Engineer (IPG)

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document component, subsystem, and vehicle-level tests
• Perform drivetrain testing including transmission, axle, powertrain, and related systems
• Support test bench, dyno, and vehicle testing (lab & proving ground)
• Develop and execute test cases, test procedures, and validation plans
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; prepare technical reports
• Identify defects, support root-cause analysis, and work with design teams on resolutions
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Support DVP&R execution and validation sign-off activities
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, CAE, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality)
• Maintain test documentation and traceability in PLM / test management tools
