Job summary

GLS North America is seeking a CVO Test Driver to support automotive development through vehicle evaluations, test routes, inspections, and documentation of findings.

You will drive new vehicles under controlled conditions, complete reports, and uphold safety policies. Starting pay is $19.00/hour with a Monday–Friday schedule, weekends off, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods while driving.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicle durability routes while following established testing procedures.
• Perform vehicle evaluations under a variety of driving conditions.
• Complete daily driver reports and accurately document test results.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report any concerns.
• Test vehicle systems including engine, transmission, braking, noise, vibration, and overall performance.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, shuttling, detailing, and other garage-related tasks.
• Follow all customer safety policies and procedures.
• Mentor other drivers when assigned.
