Job summary

GLS North America is seeking a CVO Test Driver for a weekday automotive testing role. You will drive and evaluate a variety of new vehicles, document findings, and support vehicle performance testing in a professional lab-like garage environment.

Starting pay is $19.00/hour, with a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule and weekends off. The role offers comprehensive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable sitting for long driving periods.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicle durability routes following testing procedures.
• Perform vehicle evaluations under varying driving conditions.
• Complete daily driver reports and document test results.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and report concerns.
• Test vehicle systems including engine, transmission, braking, noise, and overall performance.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, shuttling, detailing, and other garage tasks.
• Follow all customer safety policies and procedures.
• Mentor other drivers when assigned.
