CarMax, the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, is hiring a Mechanical Associate in Virginia. You’ll inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles, applying expertise to engines, brakes, steering and suspension, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE Certifications in required areas (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2) as applicable.
