Job summary

CarMax in Virginia is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax standards. You will work with a skilled team across domestic and foreign vehicles, gaining hands-on experience while upholding safety and customer satisfaction.

The role offers ongoing training in a climate-controlled facility and opportunities for growth. New hires may receive up to $5,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Maintain ASE certifications (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2).
