CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate in Virginia to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to high safety and reliability standards. You will work with a skilled team to troubleshoot issues across diverse car models and gain hands-on experience in a climate-controlled facility.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer trust, with ongoing training and opportunities to advance. A new hire bonus up to $5,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Formación

• Experience repairing engines, steering and suspension components, brakes, and HVAC systems as needed.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication with teammates.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications in Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), Heating/AC (A7) and other listed areas are preferred.
