Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and undertake a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, from diagnostics to routine services, ensuring every job is done to the highest standard.

We offer training and development, a base salary of £38,000–£40,000, on-target earnings up to £45,000 with an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £5,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• From diagnostics & repairs to routine services, ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and keep vehicles safe on the road.
