Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repair work in a busy Autocentre. You will handle tyres, brakes, transmission, steering, suspension and related components, ensuring safety and quality for every vehicle.

The role offers a base salary of £32,650–£35,910 with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme and average extra earnings of £5,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus repairs (brakes, suspension, steering, etc).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and any follow up repair work.
• Undertake tyre, brake, transmission, steering and suspension work as required.
