Job summary

Autotech Recruit Ltd. is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in the Norfolk area. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring top quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose faults and carry out accurate repairs
• Conduct vehicle health checks and inspections
• Liaise with workshop control and service advisors to maintain workflow
• Deliver high quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Support and mentor colleagues where appropriate

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and safely
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out accurate repairs
• Conducting vehicle health checks and inspections
• Liaising with workshop control and service advisors to maintain workflow
• Delivering excellent workmanship and attention to detail
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate
• Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and safety standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or independent workshop
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and repair standards
• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• A valid UK driving licence
• MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential
