Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Foster City, CA is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our Fleet Operations team. You will perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and readiness inspections to ensure safe operation and collaborate with engineering and shop personnel.

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Pay Range: $46.00-$54.00/hour. Requirements: 2+ years' experience, valid driver's license, forklift certification, good communication, ability to lift 50 lbs, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of vehicle technician experience with strong automotive maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Current and valid forklift operator certification compliant with applicable safety standards.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle service and repair activities while collaborating with engineering teams and the Shop Foreman.
• Maintain accurate service records, diagnostic reports, and quality documentation.
• Support shop operations by maintaining tools, equipment, facilities, and parts inventory.
• Assist with vehicle demonstrations, testing activities, and occasional local travel to support fleet operations.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be part of the Fleet Operations team supporting Engineering, Testing, and Vehicle Readiness teams.
