Parallel Systems in Los Angeles is seeking Software Engineering Interns to help build the software that runs its vehicles and the platform behind its fleet. This hands-on role lets interns ship real work and see results on prototype vehicles, test benches, or in services used daily.

Interns are placed on vehicle software or backend/full-stack projects, own a scoped task from requirements to delivery, and work with a mentor. Expect learning across software, hardware, and data interfaces.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on software experience with real hardware or simulations.
• Exposure to RTOS environments, simulation, or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Experience with hands-on engineering teams or personal projects.

Responsibilities

• Own a scoped project from requirements through delivery.
• Ship code that runs on prototype vehicles or in tests.
• Debug across software, hardware, and vehicle data boundaries.
• Collaborate with mentors and participate in code reviews.
