City of Albuquerque is seeking a supervisor to oversee routine servicing, maintenance and storage of City-owned motor coaches and staff vehicles. You will supervise staff, assign work and review performance while ensuring safety standards are met.
Required: High school diploma or GED with 30 vocational vehicle servicing/repair credits, four years in fleet servicing, and at least one year in a lead role; valid NM CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement within six months of hire.
Supervise, assign and review the work of staff responsible for the routine servicing, maintenance and storage of City owned motor coach and staff vehicles; oversee and participate in all work activities and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.

High school diploma or GED supplemented by thirty (30) credit hours of vocational training in vehicle servicing or repair;
and
Four (4) years of experience servicing vehicles in a fleet environment;
and
To include one (1) year lead or supervisory experience.
Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
Possession of a valid New Mexico Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with a Passenger (P) endorsement within six (6) months from date of hire.
Office and field environments; exposure to noise, dust and computer screens, grease, smoke, fumes, gases; work or inspect in confined spaces; moving objects/vehicles; work closely with others.
Essential and supplemental functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for prolonged periods of walking, standing or sitting; heavy or moderate lifting and carrying; kneeling, repeated bending stooping; operating motorized equipment and vehicles.
