Job summary

Parks Chevrolet Charlotte in Charlotte, NC is seeking an automotive technician to perform maintenance and repairs to dealership standards. You will diagnose, service, and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and more, ensuring quality work and timely completion.

You will conduct multi-point inspections, follow SOPs, use diagnostic tools, and communicate findings to service advisors and customers.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of mechanical experience required.
• Excellent communication service skills and essential computer skills.
• Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc.
• Perform multi-point inspections
• Execute the service SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) at all times
• Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology
• Adhere to company regulations and keep abreast of recalls, updates, and bulletins
• Report machinery malfunctions or defects to supervisor
