Job summary

Bergey’s Kia- Colmar in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicle components with minimal supervision. Prior work as a B-Class general service technician is preferred, with strong adherence to dealership and factory standards.

The role requires diagnosing faults, communicating with the parts department, and documenting all work. The incumbent will participate in safety checks, road tests, and may be assigned additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to perform diagnostics and repairs to vehicle components.
• Experience as a B-Class general service technician.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Location: Bergey's Kia- Colmar, PA

Pay: $37000 to $125000 / year

Shift: Full Time- No Sundays
