Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking a Body Shop Mechanic to inspect and repair vehicles, diagnose with electronic equipment, and ensure safe, quality repairs across brake systems, engines, steering, and airbags. You will also perform alignments and verify performance specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Advanced repair process knowledge and ability to follow procedures.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Integrity, respect and accountability at all levels.
• Strong customer service focus and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Examines vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Test drives vehicles and components using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair, align, replace, and adjust brake systems and perform vehicle alignments.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
• Repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems.
• Perform other related duties to ensure an efficient and effective repair.
