Job summary

Brigham-Gill Village CDJR is seeking an experienced CVR Title / Vehicle Registration Clerk to join our accounting team in a full‑time role. The position offers hourly pay of $25–$30 with benefits and opportunities within the Village Automotive Group family.

Responsibilities include RMV/title processing, tax/fee calculation, document audits, lienholder/trade‑in management, plate inventory, and liaison with customers and the DMV.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of CVR / title / vehicle registration experience in a new car dealership.
• Familiarity with dealer management systems (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion) and RMV state portals.
• Strong understanding of vehicle titling laws, transfer fees, sales tax, and lien processing.
• High attention to detail, fast/accurate data entry, organization, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• RMV & Title Processing: Prepare, verify, and submit title and registration applications for all vehicle sales to the RMV or processing services.
• Tax & Fee Calculation: Calculate state sales tax, title transfer fees, license plate costs, and registration charges.
• Document Audit: Review sales files to ensure all required signatures, odometer statements, power of attorney forms, and trade‑in titles are accurate.
• Lienholder & Trade‑In Management: Verify trade‑in title payoffs, process lien releases, and track incoming titles from lenders.
• Tag & Plate Inventory: Manage inventory, logs, and security for temporary plates, transit tags, and dealer plates.
• Customer & Agency Liaison: Resolve titling delays, missing documents, or registration holds with customers, lenders, and the DMV.
