Job summary

Carvana in Indiana is seeking a Line Lead to supervise and develop a team of hourly associates in the Inspection Center, driving production, quality, and safety targets. You will coach, monitor performance, and coordinate daily workflows to optimize throughput.

You’ll work with the Inspection Center General Manager to approve repairs, reduce re-work, and ensure adherence to Lean principles while maintaining a fast-paced, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience using computers
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Functional expertise in reconditioning processes
• Understanding of lean principles
• Valid driver’s license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide coaching, development and performance feedback to team members.
• Create a positive work environment aligned with Carvana’s values.
• Communicate performance expectations and goals clearly to the team.
• Resolve conflicts among team members and monitor policy adherence.
• Review defects and coordinate repairs or rejections based on cost and quality.
• Lead a team of production associates and partner with the General Manager for decisions.
