Job summary

FPI Security Services of Texas is seeking OVERNIGHT Vehicle Patrol Security Officers to join our team at an auto dealership in Corpus Christi. The Vehicle Patrol Officer provides a strong security presence during overnight hours and protects vehicle inventory, buildings, and property.

Responsibilities include patrolling inventory lots, monitoring for theft or trespassing, and completing daily activity reports while communicating with supervisors and management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old due to vehicle insurance requirements.
• Active Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security License or prior licensed security experience.
• Valid state driver\'s license with a clean driving record for the last 4 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screening.
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills.
• Dependable and punctual with excellent attendance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Access to a phone, internet, and email for scheduling and company communications.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout an overnight shift.
• Ability to accurately complete daily activity and incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled overnight vehicle patrols of inventory lots, customer parking, service areas, entrances, and surrounding property.
• Protect dealership employees, vehicles, buildings, equipment, and company property.
• Monitor dealership vehicles for theft, vandalism, damage, or unauthorized activity.
• Check gates, entrances, exits, buildings, and restricted areas for trespassing and unauthorized access.
• Observe and report suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities.
• Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Maintain communication with FPI supervisors and dealership management as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Operate the patrol vehicle safely and keep it clean and professional in appearance.
• Follow all Post Orders, company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

The Vehicle Patrol Officer provides a strong, visible security presence throughout the dealership property during overnight hours. This position is responsible for protecting vehicle inventory, buildings, parking areas, and dealership property while monitoring for suspicious activity, theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security concerns.
