Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and visible armed security presence throughout the dealership property.
• Protect employees, customers, visitors, vehicles, and company property.
• Control access to the dealership and restricted areas, including employees and customers.
• Conduct regular foot patrols of the lot, parking areas, and surrounding property.
• Monitor for theft, vandalism, or unauthorized activity and report findings.
• Check gates, entrances, exits, and other designated areas as required.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Provide courteous assistance to customers, employees, and visitors.

FPI Security Services of Texas is seeking professional, experienced, and dependable Armed Commissioned Security Officers to join our team at an auto dealership.

The Armed Commissioned Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for dealership employees, customers, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and company property. The ideal candidate provides a strong, professional security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Active Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer License
• Minimum 5 years of armed security experience
• Prior military or law enforcement experience a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screening
• Professional appearance, presentation, and customer service skills
• Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Access to a phone, internet, and email for scheduling and company communications
• Ability to accurately complete daily activity and incident reports

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide a professional and visible armed security presence throughout the dealership property
• Protect dealership employees, customers, visitors, vehicles, and company property
• Control access to the dealership and restricted areas, including employees, customers, contractors, visitors, and vehicles entering the property
• Conduct regular foot patrols of the dealership, parking areas, vehicle lots, and surrounding property
• Watch for theft, vandalism, damage, or unauthorized activity involving dealership vehicles and property
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity
• Check gates, entrances, exits, and other designated areas as required
• Respond appropriately and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Provide courteous assistance to customers, employees, and visitors
• Communicate effectively with dealership management, FPI supervisors, and emergency personnel when necessary
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Follow all Post Orders, company policies, procedures, and applicable laws
