Vehicle Operator III – Moving Services: Performs and leads a wide range of departmental moves and relocation projects throughout the University. Duties include moving, transporting and relocating office furniture, laboratory, research, medical, specialty equipment, historical items, and heavy machinery. Operates CDL vehicles and material-handling equipment to support moving operations. Provides training and guidance to less experienced employees and works both collaboratively and independently to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. This position will be assigned snow removal and on-call responsibilities in support of departmental operations.
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT : 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
