Job summary

Management & Training Corporation seeks a dedicated driver at the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR. You will keep vehicles clean and operate passenger transport in compliance with government and company directives.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year of related experience, and a valid CDL with an acceptable driving record. This full-time role offers 8-hour shifts and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, PTO

• One (1) year related experience.
• A valid commercial driver license in the state where the facility is located with an acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate light truck, buses and passenger vehicles; transport passengers and/or packages; ensure adherence to established schedules.
• Maintain required driver records and reports.
• Perform routine vehicle equipment inspection daily, including lights, brakes, mirrors, steering, and other required operating equipment; recommend mechanical repairs as needed.
• Promote and support positive customer service through the facility.
• Participate and promote student employability programs and activities.

What you will be doing

You’ll be responsible for keeping vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and for operating vehicles for the purpose of transporting passengers and materials, in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions
