Job summary

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to support a life support contract in overseas locations. The role requires hands-on work with computerized shop equipment, hand tools, and diagnostic devices to repair and service military and government vehicles.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience, an active SECRET clearance, and ASE certifications. This position is contingent upon contract award and may involve challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance.
• Minimum of 3 years in vehicle maintenance.
• ASE certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Operate with computerized shop equipment and traditional hand tools.
• Use manufacturer/aftermarket diagnostic tools for brakes, A/C, and transmissions.
• Interpret vehicle electrical schematics for diagnostics and repairs.
• Complete administrative paperwork for vehicle repairs and diagnostics.

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location.

Essential Job Duties

• Must be technically trained to work with computerized shop equipment and electronic components while also maintaining experience and skills with traditional hand tools.
• Have experience with and training in using specific manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic tools to include but not limited to: scan, brake, air conditioning, and transmission tools.
• Have experience and training in understanding and using vehicle electrical schematics.
• Ability to perform required administrative paperwork for vehicle repairs/diagnostics.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Active in scope Secret clearance.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Possess appropriate ASE certifications.

Additional Information

Work Environment

• Must reside at an overseas location.
• Long hours, exposure to harsh weather and other hazardous conditions.
• Wear of location appropriate PPE and clothing when in the field is required.
