Job summary

Qualifications

• Five or more years of mechanic experience or related field.
• Must have ASE certification as required by management.
• Must possess valid state driver's license.
• Frequent lifting 15–120 pounds; handling heavy objects by shoving or pulling.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and preventive maintenance on diesel and gasoline engines, brake systems, fuel systems, ignition and electrical systems, exhaust systems, suspension and vehicle computers.
• Uses standard automotive tools, diagnostic equipment and welding tools; inputs work orders and time into shop computer.
• Maintains neat and orderly work area and reports/records; may supervise and train others.
• May work day, evening or night shifts, overtime and weekends as required.
