Job summary

Manheim Dallas-Fort Worth is seeking a Zone Administrator to support vehicle identification, sticker accuracy, and inventory control across a large outdoor lot. You will ensure stock numbers, sale stickers, and related materials are correct and properly documented.

Responsibilities include coordinating vehicle staging, scanning moves, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. You will work with Lot Operations to improve flow, meet auction deadlines, and keep inventory visibility accurate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with handheld scanning devices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Stickering & Vehicle Identification: ensure stock number labels, sale stickers, and other identification materials are accurate and timely; verify against inventory and system information; audit for missing or damaged stickers and take corrective action; maintain compliance with standards; coordinate corrections of inventory discrepancies.
• Vehicle Staging & Lot Flow: coordinate staging to position vehicles for inspections, imaging, reconditioning, transportation, and sale events; prioritize based on deadlines; monitor lot organization and ensure correct storage; collaborate with Lot Operations and leadership to improve flow; identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
• Lot Scanning & Inventory Control: monitor daily scanning compliance; perform routine audits of locations and inventory; ensure all moves are scanned and documented; research and resolve missing discrepancies; partner with internal departments for accurate visibility.
• Operational Coordination: assign and track daily tasks related to scanning, stickering, and staging; communicate priorities and issues to team and leadership; monitor service levels and productivity; support auction readiness; escalate concerns impacting commitments.
• Safety & Compliance: ensure activities follow safety standards; identify unsafe conditions and equipment concerns; promote safe vehicle movement; participate in safety meetings and audits.
