Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is hiring for a Lot Operations Specialist I to manage vehicle flow and lot operations at a Cox location. You will park vehicles, direct lanes, and assist in making sure cars are road-ready through basic checks and coordination with push-truck operators.

Role emphasizes safety, adherence to company policies, and daily shift work in a fast-paced auction lot environment. Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and a valid driver's license required or preferred.
• Must be available for Day shift.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and parking vehicles in designated zones based on digital dashboard instructions to maximize lot efficiency.
• Directing the physical flow of vehicles through the sales lanes to the auction block and back to the parking lot after a sale
• Ensuring cars are operational by jump-starting dead batteries, identifying flat tires, fueling up, or managing push-truck operators for inoperable vehicles
• Operating a wide variety of customer vehicles (both automatic and manual transmissions) safely across the lot
• Set an example in behavior by championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect
• Implement all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct
• Be a visible representation of Manheim’s safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures, and modeling the behaviors related to these directives
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate
