Job summary

GLS North America in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a weekday Porter to prepare vehicles for delivery by washing, detailing, fueling, and staging them throughout the day. You will help ensure every vehicle is clean, organized, and ready for the customer.

This role offers a steady Mon-Fri schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with weekends off, starting pay of $18.00/hour plus benefits and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Dependable and able to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Comfortable working outdoors and staying active throughout the day.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through the car wash, then dry and detail them.
• Stage and organize vehicles on the lot.
• Fuel vehicles as needed.
• Install license plates.
• Transport vehicles to auction lots.
• Perform final inspections to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery.
• Help maintain a clean and organized vehicle yard.
• Assist with additional operational tasks as needed.
