Job summary

GLS North America is seeking a Porter to wash, detail, and stage vehicles and assist with daily operations. You’ll support backend garage services and related tasks, maintaining standards and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers steady hours, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a starting pay rate of $18 per hour, based on experience, with benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Must meet background check and drug screen requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with an adequate driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through the car wash, dry, and detail the vehicle.
• Transport disposed vehicles to auction lots.
• Install license plates on vehicles.
• Fuel vehicles when required.
• Sweep the yard and locate cars in the correct location.
• Complete a final inspection to ensure the vehicle is ready for delivery.
• Adhere to DRIVEN values and SAS mission and vision.

As a Porter, you will be washing, detailing, and staging vehicles, as well as assisting with other miscellaneous tasks or projects that are crucial for day-to-day operations.

Salary Overview

The pay rate for this role starts at $18 per hour based on experience.

Hours

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6:30 pm.

• Drive vehicles through the car wash, dry, and detail the vehicle.
• Transport disposed vehicles to auction lots.
• Install license plates on vehicles.
• Fuel vehicles when required.
• Sweep the yard and look for cars in the aisle to put in the correct location.
• Complete a final inspection to ensure the vehicle is ready for delivery to the customer.

Porter Qualifications and Skills
