Cox Automotive Canada in Riverside, CA is seeking a dependable vehicle transporter responsible for the safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles on Auction property, driving vehicles to and from Auction lots and customer businesses, and driving vehicles through Auction sale lanes on designated sale days while complying with safety rules.

This role requires physical stamina to sit, stand, walk long distances, lift light loads, and repeatedly enter and exit vehicles, with a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Lift 1–15 pounds.
• Vision abilities include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating; inflate tires and jump start vehicles if needed.
• Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
