Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a vehicle mover to support Auction operations in Fontana, CA. The role focuses on safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles, transporting cars to and from Auction lots and customer sites, and guiding them through sale lanes on sale days.

Candidates should be able to assist with basic vehicle servicing, observe driving rules, and help customers and teammates. Overtime may be required; hourly pay is USD 18.00 with eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and a valid driver's license are required.
• Must be able to enter/exit vehicles repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move across the lot.
• Vision capabilities include color vision and depth perception.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and perform basic vehicle tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Move vehicles to and from designated areas and to customer dealerships within rules.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating, inflate tires, or jump start as needed.
• Notify supervisor if a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• May work overtime as business needs dictate.
