Joe Myers Toyota is seeking a dependable Inventory Specialist to manage dealership inventory and coordinate vehicle movement. This role focuses on accurate record-keeping, locating vehicles, and ensuring availability for sale.

The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with multiple departments to track and maintain inventory within the dealership system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in automotive dealership or inventory is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional behavior is expected.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Stock in newly received vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Verify VINs, stock numbers, mileage, vehicle descriptions, and other information.
• Enter vehicle information into the dealership's computer system.
• Process PB units and ensure all required information is recorded.
• Inspect vehicles on arrival and report discrepancies or damage to management.
• Ensure vehicle paperwork and documentation are complete and accurate.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, Detail, and other departments regarding new vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory.
• Assist with locating and moving vehicles within the dealership.
• Ensure vehicles are properly identified and placed in the correct inventory location.
• Assist with inventory audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
• Follow all dealership policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
