Job summary

Cox is seeking a diligent Vehicle Intake Assistant to document vehicle details, affix stock stickers, and support the check-in process at our facility. You will photograph vehicles on arrival, attach tracking devices, and coordinate with transporters to ensure smooth entry into the sale process.

The role requires basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift light loads. Prior related experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years' experience in a related field.
• Safe driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
• Vision abilities include near/far/color/depth perception.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, talking and hearing; climbing movement.

Responsibilities

• Capture VIN, stock number, and dealer identification for each vehicle.
• Record make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each received vehicle.
• Associate Tracker to WO# and install on OBD port or strap around steering wheel.
• Place work orders and routing labels; flag any 'no key' vehicles.
• Direct transporters to the correct drop zone and report damage as needed.
• Take digital photos of vehicles upon receipt.
• Provide proper sale windshield code to staff during registration/check-in.
