Job summary

Greater Shreveport Bossier Auto Auction LLC is seeking a Vehicle Inspector/Condition Report Writer to conduct hands-on inspections, document condition, and capture photos for auction listings.

Responsibilities include completing detailed condition reports, verifying vehicle information, and performing drives and tests. Must work outdoors in all weather and pass pre-employment screening; mileage and damages will be documented meticulously.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform hands-on vehicle inspections and assess cosmetic and mechanical condition.
• Accurate documentation of mileage, options, damages, photos, and status.
• Ability to operate inventory systems and apply trim codes correctly.
• Comfort with using tablets and reporting tools in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on vehicle inspections and assess cosmetic and mechanical condition.
• Complete condition reports per client and auction requirements.
• Document mileage, options, damages, photos, and mechanical status accurately.
• Identify frame and flood damage and verify vehicle information.
• Stock vehicles into inventory systems with correct trim codes.
• Clear personal data from vehicle phones and navigation systems.
• Conduct vehicle photography and 5-mile test drives.
• Maintain inspection equipment, including tablets and reporting tools.
• Complete 20-30 condition reports daily (excluding sale days).
• Serve as PSI and Arbitration Inspector on sale days.
• Work independently and with the team to support auction operations.
• Communicate operational issues promptly to management.

Requirements

• Ability to work outside during all weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk and lift up-to 20 lbs. without difficulty.
• Regular and consistent availability and attendance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, for duration of employment.
• Need to pass pre-employment screening.
