Job summary

Drivo Rent A Car is seeking a customer-focused team member at Newark/LGA/JFK airport locations. You will greet customers, manage checkout, perform video inspections, document damages, and ensure accurate loss-item recording.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to car-return policies, and smooth traffic flow management to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license and clean record.
• Follow defined service processes and wear company uniforms.
• English communication required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers dropping off rental cars with a warm smile.
• Secure vehicle keys, confirm documents, and perform checks.
• Perform video inspections for damages and remind customers to check belongings.
• Identify lost items with detailed information.
• Park serviced units and inform the Service Supervisor.
• Review cars for damage on return and file claims promptly.
• Control traffic flow for incoming/outgoing rental cars.
• Ensure high-quality video checkout processes.
• Record pre-existing conditions with additional photos.
• Assist customers with inquiries about car features and conditions.
• Inform customers of return policies (No Smoking, No Pet Hair, Gas).

What you will do:

• Greet customers dropping off rental cars with a warm smile

• Identify and lost items found in the vehicle with detailed information
• Park units requiring service in designated areas and inform the Service Supervisor
• Thoroughly review cars for damage upon return, open and file claims promptly
• Control traffic flow as a guide for incoming and outgoing rental cars
• Ensure high-quality video check-out processes
• Record pre-existing conditions by capturing additional photos
• Assist customers with inquiries about car features and conditions
• Inform customers of return policies (e.g., No Smoking, No Pet Hair, Gas, etc.)

About you:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-year customer service
• Must be at least 21 and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to follow defined service processes
• Must be willing to wear company uniforms
• Ability to communicate in English, speaking other including Spanish is a plus

Position available at LGA, JFK, and Newark airport locations
Salary: From $18.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour + up to $1500 bonuses

Expected hours: 40 per week
