Job summary

FastTek Global seeks a skilled Vehicle Software Integration Test Engineer in Dearborn, MI, focused on HMI/UX/UI validation for next-generation vehicle systems. You will bridge hardware and software, use ADB and in-house tools, and run Python scripts to enable simulation and testing across Vehicles and TDk setups.

You’ll troubleshoot complex HW/SW issues, ensure correct software levels are flashed, and support CAN signal deployments.

Qualifications

5+ years in automotive industry; 3 years in software testing.
Experience with ADB for in-vehicle system debugging or ability to learn quickly.
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and test tooling.
Solid understanding of hardware-software integration in embedded/automotive systems.
Experience with CAN bus interfacing hardware and CAN network signal deployment/monitoring.

Responsibilities

Setup testing validation requests for HMI, UX, and UI features across infotainment systems on TDk and Vehicle.
Use in-house diagnostic tools and ADB to debug and set up testing environments on Vehicles and TDk.
Collaborate with software teams to run Python scripts to enable simulation for HMI testing and software download processes.
Ensure proper software levels are flashed and DIDs are enabled for HMI testing across Vehicles and TDk setups.
Troubleshoot HW/SW integration issues spanning hardware and software layers; retest to confirm resolutions.
