Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Software Integration Test Engineer focused on HMI, UX, and UI validation for next-generation vehicle systems. You will bridge hardware and software, work hands-on with in-vehicle systems, TDKs, and use ADB to debug and set up testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in automotive industry with software testing.
• Experience with in-vehicle debugging using ADB is required or quick learner.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, & test tooling.
• Solid understanding of hardware-software integration in embedded/automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up testing validation requests for HMI, UX, and UI features across vehicle infotainment systems on TDKs and vehicles.
• Utilize in-house diagnostic tools and Android Debug Bridge (ADB) to debug and set up testing environments on vehicles and TDKs.
• Work with software teams to run Python scripts to enable simulations supporting HMI testing and software download processes.
• Ensure correct software levels are flashed and DIDs enabled for HMI testing in vehicle & TDK setups.
• Record CAN information and deploy CAN signals across vehicle networks for HMI evaluation.
• Break down complex issues to root causes and retest to confirm resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of vehicle architecture and communication; adapt to shifting priorities.
• Perform HMI validation testing and document methodologies cross-functionally.
