Job summary

HTC Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Software & Systems Validation Engineer in Dearborn, MI. This role validates vehicle software, embedded systems, and features across Agile sprints, involving hands-on testing with vehicles and lab equipment.

The position requires 3–5 years in automotive software testing, strong Python skills, and experience with JIRA. Onsite work with cross‑functional teams is expected, ensuring quality and safety across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of automotive software testing or vehicle validation.
• Experience with in‑vehicle testing and embedded software validation.
• Experience with functional testing, defect management, and root‑cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional, system, integration, regression, and user‑acceptance tests.
• Perform in‑vehicle, bench, and laboratory validation of embedded software and vehicle features.
• Interface with development teams to understand testing requirements and log defects in JIRA.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and scripts using Python or similar languages.
• Document test results and manage defects using JIRA and test‑management tools.
