Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI is seeking an experienced VHE System Engineering Team Architecture Manager to lead SET Leaders, drive system design, and optimize cost, weight, and manufacturability across vehicle programs. You will oversee MBSE modeling and interface with Program, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and other teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in functional or vehicle engineering, CAD/CAE experience, and strong leadership with a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years experience in functional or vehicle engineering.
• Experience with CAD and CAE tools and managing virtual design data.
• Experience in systems engineering, design thinking and user experience.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and make decisions balancing cost and performance.
• Willingness to travel globally as required.

Responsabilités

• Engage systems engineering for MBSE modeling of critical systems.
• Own system-level decision making for VHE functions and interface with programs and manufacturing.
• Optimize vehicle environments to reduce part counts and fasteners where possible.
• Collaborate with planning, marketing, supply chain and other groups to align content and lifecycle cost.
• Lead target setting through benchmarking and leveraging core technology.
• Lead technical design reviews to optimize designs and meet milestones.
• Interface with VHE leadership to escalate critical issues as needed.
• Champion trade-off decisions balancing SET targets with content proposals.
• Co-lead with DTO to manage feasibility and theme progression in development loops.
• Collaborate with SET members and external partners for System Level Sign-Off.
