Job Description:

As Vehicle Functional Integration Engineer, the responsibilities will oversee and develop all target setting at the vehicle level and lead the vehicle development to meet these targets. Position reports to the Head of Vehicle Engineering

Technical Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the VTS, the vehicle level targets.
• Leads inter-attribute trade-off process.
• Lead vehicle level validation plan.
• Support vehicle-level development and validation testing.
• Support all program drive events.
• Be the Voice of Customer.
• Provide launch support.
• Must display ability to identify problems, drive solutions and negotiate/execute contingency plans.
• Communicates on a daily basis directly with management and cross-functional leaders.
• Strong teamwork skills set.Able to develop and drive consensus and move the program forward. Develop win-win situation.
• Deliver vehicles that meet functional targets at the different program gates.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering degree.
• 10-15 years or more demonstrated progressive responsibility and hands on experience with vehicle development engineering (testing at the vehicle level) within automotive OEM.
• Understanding of balancing required between all functional requirements such as NVH, vehicle dynamic, weight distribution, aerodynamics, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Training in Product Liability and FMEA.
• Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software)
• Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in development and integration of gas engine vehicles.
