Job summary

HKA Enterprises seeks a Vehicle Process Associate to process cars for a dealer network and perform basic computer work in an internal system. The role involves driving manual vehicles, with about 25% of time outside, and requires working 6 am-2:40 pm, Monday-Friday, with potential overtime and long-term W2 contract.

Each car takes roughly 45 minutes to process, including car wash and paperwork. You will use SAP/VMS/VDS, scanners, and inventory controls while ensuring safety and quality standards

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a production environment preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Office applications preferred.
  • 1+ years of vehicle experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • 1+ years logistics and/or warehouse knowledge preferred.
  • 1+ years SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicles are scanned into inventory.
  • Perform QC1, PD1, Prepping car.
  • Support inbound/outbound vehicle movements using FIFO.
  • Install car accessories and parts using hand tools.
  • Ensure work tools are properly assigned and counted.
  • Visually inspect vehicles and parts for defects.
  • Scrap or recycle parts as needed.
  • Use SAP/VMS/VDS to process service orders and movements.
  • Use handheld scanners to update vehicle locations.
  • Act as contact for defects found on parts or vehicles.
  • Assist with accessory installation, vehicle movements, and inventory scanning.
  • Solve daily problems and follow work instructions.
  • Meet all deadlines and follow 5S/Safety standards.

Vehicle Process Associate: 202716

1. THIS IS A W2 CONTRACT, long term, ongoing, with no end date. 2. PTO, holiday pay, and sick pay offered Pay Range: 18.04 /hr. - USD 22.00 /hr. A-shift hours-Working Hours: 6 am-2:40 pm (Lunch 12:00 pm- 12:40 pm) (Break time is 8 am-8:10 am, second break 10 am- 10:10 am). Monday-Friday (by Thursday would know if there will be any Saturday or Sunday overtime) Need someone who would be okay with overtime, if required.

Day to Day:

This team will process cars and will complete some basic computer work with an internal system. The computer work will be taught but it is basic and repetitive. Need to be able to navigate computer programs. Each car takes approximately 45 minutes to process. They park the car and take it through the car wash. They then bring the car inside to complete some computer work and paperwork for the vehicle processing. This position will work in all-weather elements outside. Approximately 25% of their day would be outside (could vary). Must be able to drive manual. MVR is required.

Overview: Position Purpose/Scope:

Performs installation of accessories and movement of vehicles for dealer network using systems (SAP/VMS/VDS).

Position Responsibilities
  • Ensure vehicles are scanned into inventory.

  • Ensures work tools are properly assigned and counted.

  • Ensures parts are properly scrapped or recycled.
  • Utilizes SAP/VMS/VDS for processing vehicle service orders and vehicle movements.
  • Utilizes handheld scanners for updating vehicle locations.
  • Acts as contact quality for any defects found on parts or vehicles.
  • Assists where necessary including accessory installation, vehicle movements and scanning inventory.
  • Daily problem solving and adherence to work instructions.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
  • Understands and models VPS Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Position Competencies
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience work experience (in a production environment preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience with all MS Office applications (preferred).
  • 1+ years of vehicle experience (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1+ years Logistics and/or warehouse knowledge (preferred).
  • 1+ years SAP knowledge (preferred).
Physical Demands
