Job summary

KYYBA Inc. is seeking a collaborative engineer to contribute to vehicle development for Functional ECUs and Smart Security.

The role focuses on hands-on design and integration of electronic control units across doors, seats, windows, and security systems, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance. You will plan, design, and validate ECUs, coordinate with suppliers, and help manage part lists and wiring specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
• 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer.
• Must be able to work up to 30% overtime.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle development for Functional ECUs and Smart Security.
• Plan structure and design of Functional ECUs and Smart Security through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality.
• Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications.

Electronic Systems Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Functional ECUs and Smart Security.The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Functional ECUs and Smart Security.

Job Duties:

• Vehicle application of Functional ECUs (power slide door ECU, power tailgate ECU, Seat ECU, Window ECU, Sunroof ECU, etc.) and Smart Security (Smart ECU, Immobi, antennas, etc.)
• Plan structure and design of Functional ECUs and Smart Security through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality
• Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications
